Project description
DIYRACE is a virtual running platform that enables athletes to participate in live interval races and virtual competitions with runners in different locations.
The Context
I joined an established product team to support the design of new features and improvements across the ecosystem, which included the mobile app, a public website, and an administrative CMS used to manage races and events.
Work was conducted in short product sprints with collaborative ideation sessions, design reviews, and regular demos with the client.

Design Contributions
Several features were designed and integrated into the existing platform, addressing three key areas of the product ecosystem.
Mobile app enhacements
Improvements were designed for several existing features of the mobile app, including:
Social login integration
Free trial onboardng flow
A live leaderboard showing runner positions during races
The ability for users to view their past races and results

Website Experience
Design support for the marketing website and race visualization pages to allow runners to visualize their completed races and explore their race history.

Admin CMS
An administrative CMS interface was designed to allow race organizers to create and configure virtual races.
Capabilities included:
Creating and editing race events
Inviting runners
Customizing visual theming settings
Configuring audio cues during races
